Lantern running
With the support of the Insel-Sylt-Tourismus-Service, the EVS and the Sylt Entrepreneurs Association, TSV Westerland is once again organising its traditional lantern run.
The event starts with a children’s service, conducted by Pastor Simon Ulrich. Under the care of the police and musical accompaniment by the Karrharde fanfare procession, the tour then goes through the city centre and Alt-Westerland in the direction of the TSV clubhouse for a cosy finale with hot sausages, wake-up calls and children’s punch.
For children who decide to run at short notice, EVS provides free lanterns. The 3G rule applies.
