The badminton division of TSV Westerland made another successful detour to the mainland at the weekend. At the D-ranking tournament in Rendsburg there were some good placings.
In the U15 age group, Jelte Topp made it onto the podium with an excellent third place, leaving 29 of the 32 competitors behind. Tom Beutling came in 7th place and Justus Meyer reached 27th place in his first tournament. The girls in the U15 age group also showed a good and cohesive performance. Out of a total of 18 participants, they finished seventh to eleventh (7. Vianne Sach, 8. Maja Djorovic, 9. Alea Doßmann, 10. Fatlinda Bajrami and 11. Lana Krull). Next weekend, the last competition of the year will be the state ranking tournament in Satrup.
