TSV Westerland is looking for housing

TSV Westerland could soon finally get its urgently needed, full-time sports teacher – provided they can find an apartment.

Dieter Kuhlmann and Torsten Lickfers currently have their hands full: As full-time sports teachers at TSV Westerland, they are responsible for almost 2000 members who want to be employed in 15 divisions and eight overarching divisional groups. „We have been looking for reinforcement for a long time in order to be able to continue to maintain our comprehensive offering,“ reports TSV Managing Director Stefan Reimers.

Now the hoped-for support is within reach: With Marleen Hinz, TSV has the prospect of a qualified sports teacher who meets all requirements and would be happy to work on Sylt. Now everything depends on whether an apartment for the new TSV coach can be found in time: „I’m not picky and would be happy about any one- to two-room apartment,“ explains Marleen Hinz. Her profile sounds like every landlord’s dream: non-smoker, no pets – and a permanent position at the largest sports club in the entire district of North Frisia.

Understandably, however, she cannot wait endlessly: If she is unable to accept the job by the end of May due to a lack of accommodation, she would have to look elsewhere for a job. In view of the urgency, the chairman of the association, Hans Wilhelm Hansen, also asks the members of the association for support. His hope: „Maybe someone has a holiday home and would rent it out permanently or temporarily to help TSV.“
